While historically flags are often talisman of culture, ownership, conflict, identity, Young's "flags" serve as meditative devices, emblems of peace, togetherness, and calm. Raised by a Buddhist mother and also a practicing meditator, each series of Youngs’ is unique based on theme, environment, space and time. 

Her Series “Love” was presented in an open field in Kent UK. In this case, she created this digital composite series in allusion to the growth, progression, and development of blossoming love.

Hung ceremoniously in juxtaposition with lush, rural countryside in England, it combines the heightened experience of space with the present moment.
