LA Art Week - See My Work & Support Fire Relief
2.19.2025
I hope this new year finds you healthy and in good spirits. It's been an incredibly difficult time for so many…especially in Los Angeles, my home.
In December and January, I was innocently excited to have a studio space at the esteemed 18th Street Art Center in Santa Monica (thank you to artist Ara Oshagan) - - intent on devoting my time to painting - but nature had other plans - as fires ripped through our backyard and much of my city and many friends' livelihoods and homes were destroyed.
I am so lucky that my family and our home were spared. Mother nature is always in control and she gave us such a strong lesson in this time.
From the devastating fires, the Los Angeles art community has worked hard to stand together and show up for each other and our neighbors during LA Art Week, and I am honored to participate in this effort, with 3 works on view :
“The Things You Carry” and “Rainbow Kintsugi” on display at “FOUNDATIONS,” a benefit at Felix Art Fair Feb 19th - February 23rd, 2025.
Additionally, Elemental Meditation is on display at 18th Street Art Center, from Thursday, Feb 20th to Wednesday, May 18th, 2025.
All are for sale and all proceeds go to fire relief. Come out to see and support.

FOUNDATIONS
FOUNDATIONS is on display in the ballroom before the Felix Fair entrance. In the wake of the devastating fires in Los Angeles, cornerstones were often all that was left unburned; like these stones, the community has continued to stand and buttress one another. Organized by LA AYUDA, each artist has created unique stones that speak to their creative practice. Together, these hundreds of stones—symbols of the resilience and strength of community—will be sold to raise funds for the most vulnerable communities of Los Angeles County that were impacted disproportionately by the wildfires, as well as structurally excluded from existing recovery aid, such as undocumented, BIPoC, essential workers, children and youth.
